Set up an agent identity with mailbox, phone and wallet

CueHands-on reviewSept 2026

A third-party reviewer set up a Cue agent with an invite code. Cue created a Google mailbox for the agent and gave it a US +1 phone number. In that session the number handled voice calls but could not send SMS, and the payment wallet (via Link) worked only with US payment details.

What they did

A reviewer from VMEG, a video-translation company, signed into Cue with an invite code, named the agent and went through setup. Cue created a Google mailbox for the agent, the reviewer connected their own mailbox so files could come back to them, added a US +1 phone number, and looked at the option to authorize a Link wallet for payments.

What happened

The agent could send email from its own address, and extra addresses on a Cue domain could be added. In that session the phone number handled voice calls but did not send SMS, and the wallet was offered only for US payment details.

Keep in mind

This is a setup walkthrough rather than a real business task, written by a company that also promotes its own product in the same post. The reviewer advises keeping a person in charge of anything that leaves the app: emails, live calls and payments.

Try it with your agent

Set yourself up to handle <type of errand, such as supplier follow-ups> for me. Use your own mailbox to send messages, copy me on everything, and send any files back to <my email>. Before you make a call, send an email to a new contact, or spend anything, ask me first and tell me exactly what you plan to do.

Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
