Draft client invoices from task and time logs
A Swiss web agency gave Hermes access to its time-tracking and task tools plus a written invoicing skill. The agent checks completed, approved work, creates invoice drafts with a client summary, and a person reviews and sends every invoice. The poster says support billing is about half of revenue and the time saved is large but gives no figure.
What they did
The COO of a Swiss web agency describes giving their Hermes agent access to Harvest (time tracking) and ClickUp (tasks), plus a written skill explaining exactly how the agency drafts invoices. The agent reviews task statuses and history, checks that the work being billed is complete and approved, creates the invoice draft in Harvest and writes a bullet-point summary for the client.
What happened
Each invoice links to a private dashboard where the client can see the full breakdown. The poster says support work is roughly half of revenue and calls the time saved huge, without giving a figure.
Keep in mind
The agent never sends invoices; a person reviews every one and sends it manually. The post does not say how often drafts need corrections.
Try it with your agent
At the end of each month, go through <your task tool> and <your time tracking tool> for <client or project>. Include only work that is marked done and approved, check each entry is assigned to the right client and project, and create a draft invoice in <your invoicing tool> following the rules in <your invoicing guide>. Add a short bullet summary of the work for the client, list anything you were unsure about, and do not send the invoice.
Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
