Run outbound sales alone with lists, research and drafted emails

LindyVendor case studyJan 2026

Blackbird, a hospitality loyalty and payments company, has its business ops and GTM lead run outbound without an SDR team, using Lindy to build lists, research prospects, draft outreach and prepare meeting briefs.

What they did

Lindy builds lead lists and finds and enriches contact details, replacing manual lists and home-made Python scripts. It does first-pass research on each prospect, including menus, social profiles and press coverage, then drafts personalized cold emails and sequences follow-ups. Before each call it assembles a brief from news and social scans, and the lead works with it through a Slack channel.

What happened

The company says it saves 10 to 20 hours a week, that meetings were booked on the first day of setup, and that leadership reports a lower cost per meeting, without adding SDR or engineering hires.

Keep in mind

This is a vendor-published case study with no date, method or baseline for the figures, and it does not name the data tools behind the contact enrichment.

Try it with your agent

Build a list of <number> <type of business> in <city or region> that match <your ideal customer profile>, with a decision maker and a verified work email where you can find one. For each, write three lines of research from their website, social profiles and recent press. Draft a short first email and two follow-ups that reference that research, and save everything to <your sheet>. Do not send anything until I approve.

Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
