Give every sales rep an assistant for prep and deal handoffs
Construction tech company Rhumbix rolled Lindy out to its whole sales team; each rep connected inbox and calendar and uses it for meeting prep, missed-email checks and deal handoffs that wait for approval.
What they did
Reps connected Gmail, calendar and other tools through a standard sign-in flow, after one internal workshop. Before each call Lindy identifies who is attending, summarizes past discussions and lists open items, and reps can delegate by text message. In a deal handoff it updates HubSpot, creates a document and briefs customer success, then waits for approval before sending anything. It replaced automations the team had built in several workflow tools.
What happened
The company says setup took about five minutes per user, the whole sales team was onboarded within days, and Lindy now handles about 80% of go-to-market work; a board-level study it ran credits a noticeable monthly cost saving.
Keep in mind
The figures come from the company's own study on a vendor page, with no method or baseline, and terms like 80% of GTM work are not defined. Rhumbix was later acquired by Autodesk.
Try it with your agent
Before each external meeting on my calendar, send me a short brief: who is attending, what we discussed last time from my email and <your CRM>, and any open items. When I mark a deal as closed won, draft the handoff: update the deal record, write a one-page summary for <your customer success team>, and show me both for approval before anything is saved or sent.
Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
